Have you heard of the Magic Wheelchair? They are a nonprofit organization that builds epic costumes for kiddos in wheelchairs — at no cost to families.
They use the help of volunteers who create the most amazing looking stuff for their kids who sign up. I’m talking about costumes like this one:
Or this:
All the kid has to do is tell you what they are into and they are then surprised with a full costume for their wheelchair on Reveal Day. So let’s say the kid likes cooking and dreams of being a chef? No problem!:
Amazing, right? The options are endless! Want to find out more and see what the other many costumes look like? Go to their website here: https://www.magicwheelchair.org/
This stuff is right down to my alley. I’ve always liked creating custom made costumes. If you know me, this is no surprise to you.
I’m sure you remember these:
So of course when they called me to ask if I was willing to volunteer, I said YES! I’m so happy to announce I’m now joining the Magic Wheelchair Non Profit Organization and I’m going to build an awesome costume for this special little boy named Christian! And if you live around my area and feel inspired to participate on an awesome elaborate majestic costume construction, contact me: priscila@myluckyears.com I will need volunteers of any skill! If you can pick up a paintbrush, I’ll need you!
