Let’s Celebrate those Good Vibrations!
May 3rd is now Bone Anchored Hearing Awareness Day. As an ambassador for Oticon Medical, I’m happy to announce this special yearly event where we celebrate and create awareness around #boneanchoredhearing and #goodvibrations. My bone anchored devices: Argo (to the left) and Eduardo (to the right) that are included in my FREE Coloring book (the one you get when you sign up for the newsletter) have now taken a new colorful look.
As a wearer of a bone anchored hearing system myself, I have to admit this seems to be the least known type of hearing device out there, so it’s our job to let everyone know that they exist, and how effective they are to some types of hearing loss. If anyone is wondering what they are, Oticon has a wonderful page explaining it: https://www.oticonmedical.com/us/bone-conduction/new-to-bone-conduction/what-you-need-to-know-about-bone-anchored-hearing
The term “Good Vibrations” are not only inspired by the famous song from the Beach Boys, but it’s also based on how the sounds are conducted through the vibrations of our bones. So let’s get out there and share our Good Vibrations by dancing to the wonderful sounds we can hear and using the hashtags #boneanchoredhearing and #goodvibrations when we share them on social media!
Happy Bone Anchored Hearing Awareness Day!
