Originally created as part of my Weekly Letting Go project—a journey of spontaneous, unplanned creation—Surrender marked a pivotal moment in my artistic growth. In just weeks, my home studio overflowed with completed works, signaling a time for expansion.
This piece unexpectedly became a turning point when it was accidentally damaged, breaking apart during a studio mishap. What initially felt like a setback revealed itself as a sign: it was time to give my art the space it deserved. This event inspired me to move into a larger, dedicated studio—a decision that liberated my creativity and elevated my art career.
The restored Surrender features new wings and a taller, more commanding presence, symbolizing resilience and the beauty of renewal. It serves as a reminder that from every challenge comes the opportunity to soar even higher.
